The following students are in the Web and Media Technologies Division of the Informatics and Knowledge Management Directorate and form part of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) Internship Programme at the MRC. Both students are enrolled for a Masters in Information Science at the University of Pretoria.
Kedibone Aphane is conducting Consumer Health Informatics (CHI) research assessing the efficacy of a convergence of Information Communication Tools (ICTs) on the cognitive uptake and recall of patients presenting with drug resistant tuberculosis.
Lorenzo Raynard conducts Consumer Health Informatics (CHI) research evaluating information needs and information seeking behaviour of health care givers providing care to patients presenting with tuberculosis.
Dr Nolwazi Mbananga is the MRC study leader of both students. |
